A representative of Hayat Medisa Teb participated online on 5–6 October in the advanced training course titled “Introduction to the Principles of Commodity Classification in the Harmonized System (HS).”
This course was organized by the Qazvin Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, in cooperation with the Qazvin Province Exporters Association, with the objective of enhancing the knowledge and professional competencies of trade practitioners in the field of commodity classification and coding.
During the program, participants were introduced to the historical development, structural framework, and general rules of the HS system. They also acquired practical expertise in accurately classifying goods under the main and subheadings of the customs tariff — a critical skill that directly impacts the precise determination of customs duties and taxes.
In addition, the application of legal notes and the six fundamental principles of classification were examined as complementary topics, providing participants with a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the Harmonized System.
Through active participation in such specialized training programs, Hayat Medisa Teb continues to strengthen its professional knowledge base and consistently advance toward greater accuracy, efficiency, and quality in its commercial processes.
